a quiet return
THE Sigmon FAMILY
Jered and Betsy are raising their daughters, Sawyer and Juniper, in the same community where Jered grew up. These days, Jered stays busy working for the city, while Betsy spends her days teaching the girls and enjoying the familiar rhythms of life at home. Seven-year-old Sawyer is learning the careful art of cursive handwriting, while five-year-old Juniper is happiest with her beloved stuffed bear, Margaret, close by. The girls have also recently begun Taekwondo together, something Jered enjoyed with his own family when he was young. It's a sweet little connection between his childhood and theirs.
“I am beginning to learn that it is the sweet, simple things of life which are the real ones after all.”
— Laura Ingalls Wilder
